Strategic resources
The company's strategic resource business aims to layout cobalt and nickel resources and build an integrated industrial chain. This business segment is carried out on the core platforms of MJM and MMT companies located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, mainly engaged in the mining and smelting of cobalt and copper products. The main products include cathode copper and cobalt intermediate products, all of which are sold directly to the outside world. The main customers of cathode copper are international high-quality enterprises such as TRAXYS and SAMSUNG. In July 2025, in order to further promote the industrial layout in the Democratic Republic of Congo, enhance competitiveness in the copper and cobalt resource fields, and deepen the strategic planning of the strategic resource sector, the company plans to invest through its controlling subsidiary "Hong Kong Jiana" to build a 30kt per year cathode copper wet smelting plant project in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
